We Made It To Guangzhou

Our last day in Hohhot was a bit hectic.  First we had to pick up Sofie Hongyan's passport and boy what an experience that was!  Go to this room, no to that room, talk about it, ask the same questions over and over...anyhoo, after several run arounds and many discussions, we got it and headed to the Inner Mongolia history museum which was really nice.

We think she thought this gentleman, a government official was her Ye Ye

Sofie with our guide Michael - she had him wrapped around her finger in no time

Success!  Passport in hand

Inner Mongolia History Museum - it was 7 degrees that day!

Then it was back to the room to pack up and head out to the airport.  Silly Sofie loves to have her photo taken and model all her new clothes and shoes.  Here she is showing off her travel gear:

I have to admit we were very nervous about the flight, but the little monkey was terrific!  We "talked" in our little sign language about what we were getting ready to do and watched planes take off and land.  Then we boarded and she crashed for the entire four hour flight.

We arrived at our hotel, The White Swan, very late last night and finally go to bed at 2am...it was about 80 degrees...we are so happy to be here!

One of my favorite parts of the day...snuggling with my post bath girl
