Sofie was rifling through the bath toys cousin Andrew passed down to her and found one that looked like a microphone. She launched in to a karaoke session that was quite hilarious. Thankfully I was able to capture part of it. It ended with Sofie and Baba doing a tandem karaoke...both singing different songs. The lyrics of Sofie's song was full of "Mama, Baba, Dang Hongyan". Have I told you how much we love this kid...?

OMG!! I tell you she has been in commercials and movies, I knew it. I bet if you took her to a real Karaoke place, she would get up on the stage. I am sooo glad you all have a little ham. Love x's 3

ReplyDeleteYour daughter is absolutely beautiful-we have a daughter that was born in Inner Mongolia in Sept 2006. We traveled in August 2008 to bring her home. Our daughter like yours was attached to me so I understand how your back felt!! Luckily for me she only weighed 22 pounds at the time. I am so excited when I find a website from a family that has adopted from IM-they are definitely the most precious children!! congrats

ReplyDeleteI used my language book from college and de-coded this. Sofie appears to be singing, "I promise to sleep good tonight. No more getting up at 1:00 a.m. That was just a one time deal. I'm making waffles in the morning. I love you all so much." (and something about where do we keep the syrup???)
