Surgery

We are off to Shriner's tomorrow for pre-op, then surgery on Thursday.  It is going to be a life-changing event for Sofie and she is going to do great.  But, it will be a tough couple of months for her.  So please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and send lots of positive energy...whatever it is you do...it will be much appreciated.

I am not sure if anyone still reads this blog...?  If so, would you kindly leave a comment so I will know to post updates on her surgery here?

Thanks!

  1. Yes, I still read whenever you post. I didn't know Sofie was having surgery. I surely do wish her all the best! And for you and baba too. Please give her a hug from me and know you all are in my thoughts.

  2. I look at your blog every SINGLE day, and download most all of the pictures, but don't post on it just for me only. Brandon said on the phone you all would probably send a unified email to family, friends, etc. What you do, we do, I do --Melissa is Pray. That prayer can go wherever a person chooses. ---To God, a god, just in your silent thoughts, to the end of my bedroom, or wherever. I Choose to think it will be picked up in some way and affirmative action will be provided. I will stick Sofie now, right in beside her older girl cousin when I say that little prayer numerous times a day. They will be nestled together. Hang tough, both of you. You all are the best thing that could have ever happened in Sofie's life. It will be hard, but it will be so OK. Love to all 3, Mom/Nana Joyce (pass messg on to Brandon--Thanks)

  3. “Hope is the anchor with which we hold onto the belief that we will have a future, that things will become better, healed, at peace, reconciled. We throw it out into the deep of the unknown, unsure of how far it must go before holding fast like an anchor in the tumult of the waves of the unknown." "We must have it and hold on".
