Shriner's sent us home with a little walker which she uses to get around the house. We are waiting on a wheelchair which will help us get out and about and most importantly, back to school on Monday!

Healing
Sofie is doing great - better each day. She has a cast (pink of course!) up to the top of her thigh and it is bent at the knee, so not the most comfortable but she has adjusted. She will wear it for 5 more weeks.
Shriner's sent us home with a little walker which she uses to get around the house. We are waiting on a wheelchair which will help us get out and about and most importantly, back to school on Monday!

Oh my gosh. Her eyes sparkle. I bet she really gets around too. She will be so glad to see her friends at school again and they her. Sounds like she is rolling right along. Better watch her in a wheelchair, she'll get a speeding ticket. Glad its going well. I Love you all. Nana Joyce

ReplyDeleteHey Heather! We have a jogger stroller and though she is really too big for it now, we've been using it to go out for walks. It's really important to her to be able to get herself around and do things for herself right now.
