Shriner's

We made a trip to Shriner's last week for a six month check up. As I suspected, our pal "Sparkle" needs an adjustment for height. She also needs a new foot since her current foot is almost 2 sizes smaller than the other.

This kid is so tough on poor Sparkle! She is so banged up I thought they would surely replaced the entire prosthesis. But no, they said Sofie will keep the socket (the part that used to be pink & sparkly) for a while. Imagine the girly's disappointment when she learned she would be stuck with the orange, scratched, stained leg.

Good ol' "Dan The Foot Man" to the rescue! He is going to let us drop it off one morning for the adjustment, new foot and give it a facelift while we wait.

Spring continued!

Sofie went on a field trip with her class to a fantastic nature preserve. They learned all about the native critters and plants and went on an exploratory hike.

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day with green all around and our first choir practice. Our neighbor started a community choir group for kiddos and since the girly loves to sing, she was all for joining.

Spring Break! We did some fun local stuff.
