First Day of School

We now have a little kinder...and as usual, little Miss Diva would not let me take her photo at first.  But she did great, just as we knew she would.

Sea World

We headed down to Sea World yesterday. I have been going there since I was a little girl and have so many wonderful Sea World memories (especially you training & doing the shows with the Orcas, Kris!) so it was fun to share it all with her. As usual as of late, the Diva did not want her photo taken, so we took lots of all the sea creatures instead. She did have a blast though...we all did.

These sea lions were so funny!  And noisy!  Sofie really wanted to feed them, so we bought some fish...but she was too scared so Baba did the honors.  It was such a scene...I just had to take some video:

Ghost Busters

I took this video of the "little cousins" doing laps around Nana's house with their flashlight and glow necklaces...looking for ghosts.  They did this for about 30 minutes.  It was hilarious.

Virginia

We traveled to Roanoke, Virginia this past week, where Sofie got to meet all of her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins on Brandon's side of the family.  She has such a blast meeting everyone and played with her cousins until she was completely exhausted.  We had a pool party and a  backyard party with slip & slide, sprinklers and water gun fights.  We went up to see the Mill Mountain Star, had a meal out with everyone and another hot tub/backyard party.  We got a ton of great photos so bear with me...it was hard to choose!

So we've been doing lots of this...

Sofie has been attending "Baba School" this summer.  She is learning to read and write, as well as math, science and nature.  She loves it!  Her favorite part is the BrainPop videos at the end of school.
